Your new company

This well-established banking and insurance firm are urgently seeking and experienced Platform engineer to work on a large migration of a legacy system to the cloud.

Your new role

As the successful Platform Engineer you will have worked on multiple migration projects in the cloud for a similar size enterprise level organisation. You will have excellent knowledge of Amazon Web Services and Cloud based services. You will have previously worked on database migration services and have demonstrated experience understanding security and governance challenges involved in deploying to cloud environments. To be considered you must ideally be an AWS Associate or professional certification highly desirable.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you must have
Key technical capabilities that you must have include the following:

• Highly experienced in Agile and Lean approaches.
• Backend/infrastructure/automation/platform engineering experience ideally in Python.
• Solid experience working with Amazon Web Services and Cloud based services.
• Have worked on multiple migrations of legacy systems to cloud.
