Salary: $63,909 - $77,302 per annum + 9.5% super

This is an exciting time to be joining the City of Fremantle Parks and Landscape team, with developments such as King’s Square, Booyeembara Park Master Plan and the Fremantle Public Golf Course projects underway. We are currently seeking a skilled and organised individual who has a degree in landscape architecture, or diploma or degree in other related discipline with a minimum of two years relevant experience.

This position reports to the Senior Landscape Architect and will see you use your communication skills and technical knowledge in liaising with external consultants and contractors in the delivery of complex landscape design and construct capital projects and operational programs from inception to completion.

Key responsibilities include:
Preparation of project briefs, schematic designs, and project initiation documentation in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Community consultation activities, including project research, preparing materials, attending sessions and integrating feedback into the design process.
Preparation of concept designs and graphic presentations using hand drawing, CAD, Adobe Suite, Sketchup and other software.
Produce project status and project completion reports.
Prepare cost estimates.
Prepare procurement documentation.

Success in this position is dependent on your parks and landscape experience, organisation and communication skills and your ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders. CAD knowledge and graphic ability will be highly regarded.
