This is will be a diverse Estimating role with someone who is good with technology, I am looking for someone to join one of my clients on a full-time basis as an estimator, this would be a great opportunity for you to join a stable and secure business who cares about the staff and will give career progression for the right candidate, This company cares about there staff and are really looking for someone who is a team player.

This would be great for someone who has completed their carpentry apprenticeship and has a subcontracting background

Your New Responsibilities

• Strong communication with clients
• Build new relationships
• Interpret the scope of works
• Write scope of works documents when required
• Liaise with & engage sub-contractors during the quotation stage
• Regular travel around Canberra & the surrounding area
• Work alongside supervisors to achieve set budgets

What you need to succeed

• Previous estimating experience
• Objection handling
• Technology savvy
• Proven knowledge of the construction and building industry
• Relevant building trade qualification, preferably in carpentry
• Punctuality and reliability
• Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
• Dispute resolution skills
