JOB DESCRIPTION

Due to recent significant growth an opportunity now exists with my client for a part time Undergraduate Civil Engineer/Estimating Assistant in their Eastern Suburbs office.

Reporting to the Construction Manager:

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the principle pricing of civil construction estimates
  • Co-ordinate and send out subcontractor/supplier pricing packages
  • Complete quotation comparisons for estimators
  • Have a working knowledge of Drawings, Specifications and Quality, WH&S and Environmental requirements for all tender related activities
  • Ability/learn to read plans & specifications & be able to identify scope of work
  • Liaise with all project stakeholders
  • Resource and labour management
  • Sub-contractor Management
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills
