WE ARE HIRING - Architect

Studio Chris Fox is currently seeking an experienced architect candidate for a full-time position with skills and abilities including –

- minimum 2 years’ experience in architecture, engineering, manufacturing, or similar a field

- proficient in design, construction documentation and specification

- produce technical and design documentations that includes materials, estimated time frames and costs of project

- maintain and manage drawings, documents, and other related data in an organised manner

- liaise with stakeholders, consultants, management, and contractors

- manage technical progress of projects to ensure quality and compliance with design specifications, codes, and regulations

- carry out risk assessments and environmental impact reports

- coordinate contractors and construction teams and inspect work progress

- creative and logical problem solving

- ability to work collaboratively in a team

- meticulous with strong attention to detail

- strong visual communication skills, as well as verbal presentation

- digital fabrication and construction experience

- 3D modelling in Rhino

- parametric modelling in Grasshopper

- 2D documentation and detailing (AutoCad/Rhino)

- Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

- Revit; and

- scripting, coding, and automation (Python, C# or VB NET).

Studio Chris Fox bridges the disciplines of art, design, architecture and construction. The studio navigates the complex constraints of the public domain with poetic sensibility, utilising innovative computational processes and unexpected material manipulations. Projects are developed from initial concept design through to installation, including; detailed documentation, engineering, project management, fabrication and construction. Studio Chris Fox recalibrates the perception of place through material and architectural intervention.
