JOB DESCRIPTION

We have opportunities for skilled Mechanical Trade Assistants with a strong technical aptitude to work on LNG/O&G sector shutdowns and maintenance campaigns.

These roles will be onshore with the potential for offshore work if you possess the relevant offshore accreditations. Experience within a technical or process environment such as oil & gas, petro-chemicals, minerals processing etc will be highly regarded.

Duties include:
  • Supporting and assisting technicians
  • Assisting to test and inspect nitrogen units, pumps and relevant equipment
  • Rigging up and operating pumps
  • Monitor and adjust operation of pumps
  • General pump repair and maintenance
Experience required includes:
  • Previous Mechanical Trade Assistant experience
  • Technical or process knowledge/background (preferred)
  • Working on pumps, piping and instrumentation (preferred)
  • Reading P&IDs (preferred)
  • Working in remote locations/FIFO work

  • Ability to follow directions
  • Ability to work in hot and confined environments
  • Operate with precision and detail
  • For offshore - MSIC, BOSIET
