As the Level Crossing Removal Project continues to deliver a safer and more efficient train network, the Metro team involved in this large-scale project is expanding to respond to current and future works. The experience gained in this exciting, multi-disciplinary environment will be valuable to building your career in rail construction.
Metro Trains Melbourne are currently seeking expressions of interest from talented Engineering Interns to join ,support & learn from our experienced team as part of the North West Program Alliance. This large-scale project will benefit train users, pedestrians, cyclists and drivers by improving safety, reducing congestion and enabling more frequent train services.
As a intern you will be provided with the opportunity to learn & work alongside top engineering professionals across Railway infrastructure projects , whilst obtain hands on experience as part of Victoria’s Big Build
Flexibility will be provided in allowing you to work hours to suit your current study commitments.
These opportunities will be based within projects in the Northern Suburbs and are available immediately for the right candidates
To be considered for these roles:
- Currently Studying a Bachelor of Engineering
- Currently undertaking Engineering studies in 3rd or 4th year
- Ability to undertake part time employment 2 -3 days a week preferable
- Genuine interest in Transport, Infrastructure or Rail
- Excellent communication & organisational skills
- Current drivers licence, and ability to get to and from project sites essential
