Enterprise Architect(Fixed term - 12 months)

The healthcare industry is changing with greater intensity than previously experienced, primarily driven by the impacts of COVID. As a result, many organisations are transforming their businesses to better meet the changing needs of the community and to focus on opportunities to improve the health system. 

At Ambulance Victoria (AV) we are focused on transforming how high quality pre-hospital care and medical transport are delivered in the future, which means we need to identify and coordinate strategic changes across the enterprise. To help with this, AV are hiring an Enterprise Architect for our Transformation & Strategy Division. This role will report to the Director Strategy & Architecture and operate from our Doncaster office (when not working remotely) for an initial fixed term of 12 months. 

About this role

This is an exciting opportunity for you to help influence the future of pre-hospital care and medical transport in Victoria, while also getting to understand the extensive business that makes up AV. For this role we are looking for someone who can take on the complexities of an emergency services organisation, and help us through our transformation. This is a business role and we expect you to have a strategic mindset, have strong business engagement skills along with the ability to create enterprise level architectures, build strategic plans and strategic roadmaps. You will also be providing recommendations for prioritising capital investments and providing technical leadership across all business divisions. 

About you

To be considered for this role, you will hold a tertiary qualification and have strong architecture experience, including strong business engagement experience. You will also be able to demonstrate your skills when negotiating with business stakeholders and demonstrate your ability to create strategic plans and roadmaps that are actionable. You will also have a good understanding of how an architecture practice operates and you will bring with you sound advisory skills and an ability to translate regulatory requirements into business and technology controls. 

You may also hold an Architecture certification for Azure, AWS or GCP and be able to demonstrate your development skills, and your ability to help guide technology platform evaluations, development and implementations. 

If you are the successful candidate, you must have a current Victorian Driver's Licence and must be willing to undertake a National Police Check.

This position is graded at AV6. The AV grade salary range for this position is $144,341.00 - $165,712 plus 9.5% superannuation. The expectation is that employees will commence at the base of the grade applicable to the position.
