We are currently seeking applications for an experienced Workshop Trade Assistant for Day shifts for our client's workshops based South of the River in O'Connor in their fantastic workshop facilities.

The work performed in the workshop is as follows:

• Assisting a team of Boilermakers, Welders & Mechanical Fitters in a workshop environment
• Operation of a 9inch grinder
• Use of an overhead crane
• Forklift operation
• Use of various power and hand tools
• General housekeeping in the workshop and yard

Successful applicants will have the skills, experience, tickets, and qualifications;

• 2 Years minimum solid Trade Assistant experience in a workshop environment is a mandatory requirement
• Current forklift ticket (LF) is advantageous
• If you have an overhead crane ticket this would be an added advantage
• Able and willing to use a 9inch grinder throughout the shift.

Benefits of this Role:

• 3-Month Assignment with ongoing employment opportunities for the right individuals
• Day Shift Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm Plus Saturdays as required
• Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour flat rate for Day shift
• Weekly pays
