About the Opportunity:
This position is best suited to someone with the ability to work well within a busy team and who are continually striving to improve their skills as a carpenter and have the same worth ethics and goals are our company.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Interpret technical drawings and specs to attain information on materials required for the project • Be responsible for the order and timber selection as well as other required materials
• Dealing with materials including measuring and cutting per project specs
• Cutting wood joints
• Scheduling projects and work timetables
• Dimensions and installation procedures • Repair existing fittings for projects
• Prepare layouts for projects
• Work with various types of materials including timber, plastic laminates, perspex and metals
• Assembling and nailing cut and shaped parts
• Verifying accuracy of structures and works
• Construct concrete formwork
• Setup Levels for formwork
• Adhere to work safety rules and regulations and practice safety measures as required
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
• Previous Construction Carpentry experience
• AQF Certificate III or IV level qualification or at least 3 years’ experience as a Carpenter
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Hard working with good work ethics
• Attention to details to provide excellent service to clients
• Experience working with various stakeholders
• Customer service skills desirable

• The successful applicant will be remunerated based on experience starting at $74,464.00 + 9.5% Superannuation per annum
