Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking an experienced Health Manager to join our Special Health Accommodation Team!

Do you have relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in health service management including, facility, finance, administration and human resource management and the delivery of health services in a multi-disciplinary work environment and/or relevant appropriate experience?

Do you have demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated experience in liaison and negotiation at all organisational levels and with a wide variety of stakeholders, internal and external to the District Health Service?

Special Health Accommodation (SHA) sites have been established to provide accommodation to those that are required to quarantine upon return from overseas and are symptomatic or swabbed at the airport, as well as those who are COVID-19 positive or awaiting swab results and are unable to self-isolate in the community.

The primary purpose of the Site Manager position is to manage the clinical support staff and daily clinical support operations at a Special Health Accommodation site. The role is also required to work closely with the clinical services on site and provide a key point for escalation of any site specific issues to the SHA executive.
