Our client is a leading international provider of electrical and automation systems and solutions. They design, manufacture, install and maintain a wide range of solutions for a broad client base covering SCADA, RTU and PLC’s. They now require a Control Systems Engineer experience to support and maintain their client sites across the Greater Sydney region. This is an initial 12 month with a view of transitioning into a permanent position.


As a Control Systems Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance of SCADA and PLC systems at customer sites as well be involved in the full lifecycle for minor projects.

Main responsibilities include:
  • Development of functional designs and technical specifications
  • Programming and configuration
  • Providing front line support for all systems
  • Managing and maintaining network performance
  • Attending clients sites and delivering on service contract arrangements
  • Commissioning and start-up of control systems
  • Maintain technical documentation
  • Being a part of an on-call roster
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of the world’s leading systems manufacturer and solutions provider. Based out of Parramatta, the successful candidate can expect to travel across the greater Sydney region. An excellent hourly rate is available.


To be considered for these positions, you will possess:
  • A tertiary engineering degree in electrical or electronics engineering or similar
  • Knowledge of SCADA and PLC systems, ideally ClearSCADA but other systems will be considered
  • A thorough understanding of the full project lifecycle
  • Sound experience of site activities including install, maintenance and commissioning is essential
  • A background in an industrial automation background i.e. water, power, oil & gas etc
  • Strong customer facing and interaction skills
