Working for this government department on large ICT projects. Map various strategy, architecture, research, government initiatives and new policy proposals into a coordinated program or work

Responsibilities include:

• Map various strategy, architecture, research, government initiatives and new policy proposals into a coordinated program or work
• Liaise with 3rd party vendors and other Agencies to facilitate the creation of best practice capabilities
• Develop and maintain relationships to understand client needs and the nature of the work undertaken by the department
• Understand and document current and emerging issues in relation to IT supply in a government environment and in the IT industry
• Work cooperatively and collaboratively with a wide range of technology specialists

Contract till 30th June with possible 30 month extensions. Canberra location. Baseline clearance or Australian citizens willing to get Baseline clearance

Skills required include:

• Ability to engage effectively with the vendor and all other key stakeholders
• Ability to plan and coordinate multiple stream of work
• Detailed knowledge, understanding and practical experience of applications solutioning
• Able to apply a broad breadth of knowledge in software delivery to advise on, and support, project delivery including risk and issue management
