Team Member - Concrete

Padman Stops is an industry leader in manufacturing innovative irrigation solutions for Australian farmers. Based in Strathmerton, primarily a precast concrete manufacturer with most of our products fitted with water control doors. We also design and assemble our own range of Electro-Mechanical Automation products.

With a safety and quality-driven culture being a great communicator on all levels will be vital to the success of this role.

We have an opening for a Team Member in our concrete plant which conducts pre-fabricated mesh and manufactures concrete production components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to building mesh cages and preparing moulds for production
  • Production of components/sub-assemblies for other sections of the company
  • Maintains job sheets for tracking material usage and job costings
  • Ensures OH&S policies are followed and assists in the continuous improvement of safety procedures.
  • Ensures standard work procedures are followed, in order to produce consistently high-quality products
  • Operation of light machinery

    • Skills And Experience

  • Concrete or precast experience
  • Trade background or mechanical aptitude highly regarded
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in working in a team environment
  • Forklift licence highly regarded.
