About the Job:

The position is a non-qualified electrical tradesperson who primarily develops and constructs control panels in a repeat production environment. Accurately performing the operations of the department under the supervision of the Workshop manager.

Duties:

• Panel Technician position primarily develops, constructs, wires and test’s control panels
• Accurately performing the operations of the department
• Assisting other workshop team members as required
• Wiring, installing and testing of product, machinery & switchboards
• Testing and tagging of electrical equipment
• Basic electronic testing and assembly

Skills and Experience:

• Trade qualification – Cert IV in Electrical / Electronics
• Electrical tradesmen with electrical switchboard / panel building experience
• Holds an Electrical Workers Registration (SA) or state equivalent
• Excellent diagnostic and repairing skills
• Appropriate Electrical qualifications and experience
• Strong communication skills
