JOB DESCRIPTION
Nursery hand / Landscape Yard Assistant position available @ Hervey Bay Garden Centre.
***MUST HAVE PRIOR PLANT NURSERY EXPERIENCE***
On offer: 3-4 Days/ week & some weekends.
The position will require applicant to:
have a sound knowledge of plants and products commonly sold in retail plant nurseries.
use a cash register.
be able to answer nursery questions customers can ask.
display nursery stock in a well presented way.
be able to follow instructions that is presented in your training.
have excellent communication skills & presentation.
have excellent customer service.
be able to work in an extremely fast paced work environment. be confident to operate a register.
be punctual, friendly and have a positive attitude.
have own reliable transport.
Having landscape/ building product knowledge is an advantage.
MR/ HR licence & or forklift licence is an advantage.
