The role
The Network Automation Engineer is responsible for the automation of technology solutions within the operational environment. This role will partner closely with Engineers to facilitate the scripting of network provisioning, health checks, troubleshooting and pre and post deployment checks. This is the perfect role for someone with an infrastructure mindset/background who has since stepped into the Devops/Programming space.

- Design, build, test and operate network automation capabilities across Juniper, Velocloud and SIP Trunking programs
- Identify opportunities to automate repeatable tasks
- Facilitate user training and defect resolution of network automation scripts
- Develop infrastructure automation procedures
- Be degree qualified in Engineering, Computer Science or a STEM related field
- Have approximately 5-7 years’ experience in technical roles within an ISP or large enterprise environment
- Demonstrate experience with scripting, automation, and software development toolsets/approaches (Javascript, Shell, Python and Ansible and Yang models)
- Have experience working with major OSS application suites
