The Role

With an established team of Traffic Engineers that includes Junior Engineers through to Principals and Directors, an opportunity to add a further Principal Traffic Engineer as part of a well planned growth strategy has been identified.

You will work closely with the Directors to deliver existing key projects as well as to identify new client and project opportunities through existing networks and utilising your own contacts.

The Responsibilities

As a Principal Traffic Engineer, not only will you play a key role in the business development, tendering and delivery of projects of all sizes, but you will also play a key role in mentoring and developing junior staff.

This role will involve a high level of client interaction, technical expertise and business acumen. You will have opportunities to continue your development under key industry figures and also to have opportunities to flesh out a team under you if this is something that would be of interest.

The Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience working as a Principal Traffic Engineer or be ready to take the step-up to this level
  • Extensive NSW experience with networks and contacts that you can leverage to gain opportunities to tender and win work
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all external in internal stakeholders
  • The ability to set and meet revenue targets, accurately compile fee proposals and to manage the delivery of these projects on time and to budget
  • The drive and passion to succeed
  • Full working rights in Australia
