About the role

As the Site Manager, you must have a strong understanding of Structural Steel Fabrication, preferably with a Boilermaker or Steel Fabrication trade background. Ensure that every project is erected safely and has been coordinated with KPI’s being achieved according to budgets and scope of work. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are successfully erected with QA, variations and client welfare positively managed. It is expected this will be done by proactively engaging with the builder, riggers, site coordinators detailer and staff (both office and site based) to ensure a successful outcome for each project.

Skills and experience required

• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor / Manager
• Trade background as Boilermaker, Welder or Metal Fabricator
• Strong experience of Steel Fabrication and Structural Steel erection
• Able to solve problems that arise during building construction
• Hands-on approach
• Strong ability to manage site-based staff and project deliverables
• Ability to understand drawings, variation paperwork, budgets etc.
• Strong communication abilities with builders, staff, clients and project stakeholders
• Computer literacy
