About the role:

We currently have an urgent requirement for a Senior AWS Engineer with SRE(Software Reliability Engineering) background to join our dynamic digital team. In this role, you will work with the business units and with the various product teams to enhance the product set, patterns, automation, and tooling surrounding software reliability. The role involves measuring the performance and availability of software products against agreed service levels through the product’s lifecycle. Works with the teams to provide proven development guidance, best practices, and DevOps routines.

About you: 

Skills & experience:

• Strong s/w engineering (including design) background with solid cloud experience (i.e. Full stack). Languages - JavaScript/ Python/ Node/ React for APIs & Frontend.
• CI/CD pipelines and orchestration, including code and artefact management/inspection, container build, and publication.
• Elastic search / ELK Stack (Elastic search, Logstash, Kibana, Beats)
• Fault finding and diagnostics
• Scripting and automation
• Team collaboration
• Agile Methods
• Previous experience in the Mining or resources industry is highly advantageous.

This is an urgent requirement, hence looking for Perth, WA based professionals.
