The Role 

In this full-time permanent role, based in Richmond, you will be responsible for designing, building, supporting and maintaining all cloud-based (Azure), virtualised technologies and associated core infrastructure systems.  You will be part of the Infrastructure team and will report to the Infrastructure Team Leader.

You will make an impact by:

  • Delivering on premises applications and technology platforms into a hybrid public cloud environment.
  • Continually improving the automation, security and system management of hybrid cloud platforms and the software and tools used to run and maintain critical services
  • Analysing, diagnosing and resolving cloud compute and cloud network faults
  • Providing guidance to the team on Cloudops methodologies
  • Manage the cloud environment to maintain agreed financial and performance targets.
  • Implementing infrastructure as code and CI/CD practices

To be successful in this role…

You will be a team player who has a passion for transforming systems. Experienced in triaging and handling a mixture of Cloud infrastructure and on premisses support jobs. You will be confident in carrying out routine Cloud and Infrastructure maintenance (patching/updates.)

You will have

  • Demonstratable experience in design and configuration of cloud compute tools and methodologies
  • Proven experience in supporting a hybrid cloud environment
  • Associate level certification in AWS or Azure
  • Been part of a successful cloud transformation project
