Position Description

Our client is a precision sheet metal fabrication specialist; one of Queenslands most extensive and longest-serving metal manufacturers and fabricators.
They are seeking a 2nd Year apprentice to complete a Certificate III Engineering and Fabrication trade qualification.
The successful candidate will be trained up by a team of professionals, and have the opportunity and continue on with the company after the apprenticeship.
The Role:
From one-off construction components to mass-produced automotive parts, this business specializes in industrial equipment, commercial kitchens, power supply components, street furniture and more.
You will be involved in the welding, structural steel erection, sheet metal working, metal finishing, moulding, sanding and assembly of commercial cookery equipment.
To be successful you must:
Be committed to finishing your apprenticeship
Be reliable
Have a good attitude (be willing to learn)
Uphold safety
Have your license and your own car
This apprenticeship would suit a school leaver or someone starting out their career and looking for long-term employment.
Hours of operation are:
Mon - Fri 5am to 1:20pm
One Friday a month off.
