Are you an experienced DevOps Engineer with an exceptional understanding of modern secure technology stacks including infrastructure provisioning? Do you love solving complex engineering problems? If you're answering yes then this is the role for you!

Our client is growing fast and due to their continued global success, we're looking for a talented and experienced Platform Engineer to help optimise and support their on-premise and AWS capabilities.

You will be responsible for
▬ Participation and leadership in solution design and architecture discussions in collaboration with developers and other DevOps engineers.
▬ Platform maintenance and identification of improvement opportunities in close cooperation with developers and other lines of business.
▬ Setup, configuration and deployment of network and infrastructure, including hardware and virtual machines in on-premises and AWS environments.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
▬ Expert skills in Linux
▬ Strong hands on experience working with Amazon Web Services.
▬ Solid skills with Configuration Management and Infrastructure as Code tools. Preferably Ansible, Packer, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
▬ Advanced knowledge of software deployment patterns and processes.
▬ Advanced knowledge of best practices for implementing security and compliance controls in cloud environments.
▬ Advanced knowledge and experience working with virtualization in an on-premise environment.
▬ Working knowledge of source control tools. Preferably GIT.
▬ Proven troubleshooting skills, with a strong focus on root cause analysis and remediation.
▬ Review and understand technical and functional design requirements to build solutions.
