This new role is to work for an 18 month old startup in the logistics SAAS space who are set for big things. Its an opportunity to work directly alongside the head of engineering & CTO and help lead one of their product teams.
We're looking for someone primarily backend focussed - happy with Restful APIs, SQL & NoSQL, DBs, Linux , AWS and PHP.
Stack; Postgres, PHP, ReactJS, Javascript, JQuery
Infrastructure; Jenkins, Kubernetes, Kafka, Docker, AWS
Responsibilities
- Co-lead a squad with the CTO and Product Manager
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Design and develop highly scalable, reliable and fault-tolerant systems
- Build and manage automated build/test/deployment environments
- Plan and execute with Frontend, Mobile, DevOps, Data, UI/UX, QA
- Use DDD, Design patterns, advanced Git to produce maintainable code

About you
- 6+ years designing, developing, testing, deploying in PHP
- Proficiency in multiple languages; deep familiarity with our stack (above)
- Best practice mastery (Object Calisthenics, SOLID, OOP, SCRUM, XP, CI/CD)
- Track record with Restful APIs, SQL & NoSQL databases, Linux environment
