About the Organisation
As a highly successful and dynamic civil contractor with a national footprint, our client has been awarded a significant marine construction project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia which involvess a large amount of marine piling and civil construction works.
We are seeking expressions of interest from Project Engineer's with project experience in the construction of wharf's, jetty's and marine piling works for a long-term FIFO career opportunity.
This is a secure and long-term opportunity with a solid pipeline of work into the future and you will be employed on a permanent contract with market-leading salary package courtesy of a healthy uplift (Up to 45% of your base salary)
*Depending on what experience you bring to the team, you could expect to earn over $200k per annum!
About You:
- Degree Qualified (Civil/ Structural or Construction Management)
- Minimum 4 years' experience within the piling & marine construction industry
- Possess a high level of organisation to ensure project milestones are met
- Sound project scheduling, cost control, and reporting capabilities
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to develop rapport with internal and stakeholders
- Must be happy to work regular FIFO rosters ranging from 2:1 to 3:1
Responsibilities:
- Monitor project – progress vs budget from both a financial and progress perspective
- Perform site inspections to assist with monitoring of progress and productivity
- Provide all necessary assistance to the Project Supervisors/Managers.
- Complete and submit progress claims in a timely manner.
- Monitor daily site documentation including supervisor reports, day worksheets, pre-start notes, staff time sheets and other paperwork as it is raised.
- Ensure regular communication of project performance against objectives.
- Develop strong relationships and communication links with key stakeholders.
