An excellent opportunity has now become available for an experienced Account Manager. This position will be responsible for maintaining existing customer accounts whilst establishing new business and maximising sales opportunities in the region. You will have the opportunity to work across the IIIawarra region whilst being part of the dynamic NSW Concrete Sales team.

Duties:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure high quality service provided to customers
  • Proven capability in achieving sales outcomes
  • Develop and implement sales and pricing strategies
  • Prepare and follow up quotes and tender submissions
  • Manage contractual aspects of tenders and price submissions
  • Undertake market intelligence on customers, competitors and industry
  • Prepare monthly forecasts
  • Ensure continuous improvement with innovative ideas in all aspects of sales and marketing
  • Site coordination and management of concrete pours, collaborating with Safety, Technical and Production teams

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven ability to achieve sales outcomes
  • Previous experience within construction industry will be highly regarded
  • Personal drive and results focused with a growth mindset
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
  • Develop effective working relationships with all people
  • Ability to quickly assess and price/mitigate contractual risk
  • Attention to detail
