Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia is a unique Australian travel company wholly owned by the Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation (ILSC) offering experience-based holidays in spectacular wilderness locations including Ayers Rock Resort in the iconic Red Centre and tourism facilities at Mossman Gorge in Tropical North Queensland.
With five individually branded hotel and apartment complexes across Ayers Rock Resort we offer both our guests and employees a multitude of world class accommodation options.

About the role:
Being based in the middle of the Red Centre we need to employ a large and dedicated onsite property maintenance team, consisting of a range of trades and specialist disciplines. Supporting this team are a number of general Handymen based at our Housing Department to ensure our infrastructure and facilities remain operational and in prime condition for our staff.
We currently require a Handyman Team Leader to undertake a range of general maintenance duties. These range from ensuring all maintenance requests are acted on quickly, safely and thoroughly.

The successful applicant will:
Be experienced in general property maintenance, ideally within a residential environment
Be competent across a number of basic trade duties and the use of a range of power tools
Have a current Australian manual drivers licence
Be able to work well in a team member
Have a strong work ethic
A National Police Check is a mandatory step of the recruitment process
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants are encouraged to apply.
