Civil Supervisor

DCT Australia is currently seeking a Senior Civil Supervisor to Join our team on one of our Darwin and remote projects for an immediate start.

About this position:

As the Site supervisor you will be responsible delivering the project on or under time and ensuring a safe site is maintained and a quality project is constructed.

· Flights from Darwin provided to site on remote projects

· Meals and Camp are provided on site on remote projects

Duties:

· Effectively supervising the team on site.

· Running daily prestart's with employees and contractors onsite

· Thorough understanding of OHS and environmental requirements

· Direction and monitoring employees, subcontractors and suppliers

· Set out of survey works with Topcon/Trimble rover

· Maintain compliance with construction program and ensure project program is on or under time

· Prepare monthly claims

· Insure clients expectations are being met or exceeded

· Daily records of site activities and costs

Skills and qualifications:

· Have thorough knowledge to read and understand drawings, specifications and QA requirements.

· Prior subdivision experience highly regarded

· Prior experience delivering $5 million - $10 million dollar civil projects highly regarded

· Experience with Topcon survey equipment preferred with a minimum of 5 years’ experience

· Ability to deliver a high standard of work is essential.

· Attention to detail

· Be able to run your team and communicate with all levels of staff

· Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously

· Hold a Valid Australian Drivers Licence

· Hold an industry white card

· Have a strong commitment to Safety

· Clean and Tidy presentation to represent our company well

· Good communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
