The Operation
Tritton Copper Operations is located near Nyngan in NSW. Tritton Copper Operations has two underground copper mines (Tritton and Murrawombie) and a 1.8 million tonne/yr processing plant. The mines are deep level, high tonnage stoping operations and are currently the largest of its type in NSW.
Our residential roster allows you to be home every night in the town of Nyngan which has a population of 2,000 people, a multitude of shops and sporting activities as well as junior and high schools.

Job Description
The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and results driven Mobile Maintenance Foreman to work as part of the Maintenance team at Tritton Mines. Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent you will manage a team of tradespeople to deliver a robust reactive and planned maintenance program to an ever-expanding fleet of mobile equipment.
Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to
- Promote compliance with mechanical/safety standards and guidelines
- Oversee maintenance team tasked with maximising availability of surface and underground mobile equipment within budgeted costs and availabilities
- Maintain and manage weekly schedule - prioritise scheduled work and reallocate labour/resources if necessary to meet business requirements
- Work with all departments to maximize equipment utilisation
- Motivate, lead and mentor the Maintenance team ensuring shift start, task assignment, risk assessments are to standard
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Trade qualifications working in a mining environment or relevant degree with practicable experience
- Previous experience in underground operations essential
- Preparation of budgets and implementation of reliability initiatives
- Ability to implement indicators to monitor team performance and affect positive change
- Be self-motivated, team orientated with excellent people skills
- Demonstrated application of safe working procedures and systems
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory role
