Our position

This hands-on role offers you exposure to a plethora of stakeholders in the construction industry including major infrastructure owners, Engineering and Architectural organisations, contractors, builders, suppliers and subcontractors alike. This position will see you embracing your civil engineering skills, technology and IoT background, strong concrete knowledge and honed business development skills to service, support and grow CE's innovation and concrete sustainability market group. Alongside business development and technical support, within this role you will play a key part of enhancing and growing our marketing strategy and future technology roll out.

In this position you will be personally looking after a number of our key markets in ACT, NSW and QLD as well as supporting our distribution network throughout Australia.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Civil Engineering Technology.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a technical or construction industry sales position.
• Demonstrable strong understanding of concrete and concrete construction.
• Demonstrable strong understanding and experience in IoT and technology applied to the concrete construction market.
• Understanding of, and passion for, sustainable construction solutions.
• An understanding of a consultative sales process with a view of meeting and exceeding the customer's expectations.
• Well versed in delivering and transferring knowledge in a group presentation environment and/or experience presenting to industry associations and bodies.
• Understanding of design specification work in the engineering, architectural and infrastructure fields of the construction industry.
• Ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels of the decision making process.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially regarding proposal and presentation skills.
• High level computer skills, with proficiency in both Android and iOS systems.
• The desire and passion to work as part of a team in achieving common goals

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
