JOB DESCRIPTION

Based north of Sydney, a local council looking to engage an experienced Development Engineer. The incumbent will need to provide technical advice on engineering matters. This is a contract position with the potential for extension.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and condition development applications.
  • Prepare specific conditions as required for inclusion in Development Consents.
  • Inspect and assess completed flood and stormwater management and
  • Liaise on other civil engineering works for development.

Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering
  • Engineering experience relevant to development assessment.
  • Working knowledge of planning legislation and regulations.
  • Current Class C Driver's License
