Great opportunity to join a successful Office Furniture business in the South East area, this well-established company has a strong stable history in Industrial and Office Furniture.

We are looking for an experienced CNC programmer operator to drive a new CNC Laser cutting machine for cutting upholstery fabric. This is a hands-on role to begin with, and the applicant will be expected to train a future operator once the machine operation is well established.

Reporting to the MD your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) assisting in setting up a new fabric laser cutting machine. You will be involved in using the latest software and scanning patterns into digital format. This will involve creating files use CAD and also tidying up drawings and managing the software.

You will program and run the laser cutting machine initially then move more into a machine programmer position. However, at the start, you will run, set and operate the machine. This machine is a new Fabric Cutting Laser Machine.

TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Fabric industry experience ideal.
• Laser Cutting Machine programming skills
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
• Physically fit to conduct manual handling
• CAD experience
