JOB DESCRIPTION

The Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) is transforming its ways of working and digital communication to help Victorians more easily find, understand and apply government information. The Digital, Design and Innovation (DDI) branch within DPC delivers digital projects, accessible open data, information services, website content and social media strategies, as well as managing products used across the Whole of Victorian Government (WoVG).

This role offers you the chance to work in a dedicated, collaborative team designing and delivering digital services that are transforming the government digital landscape in Victoria. You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement across a range of hosting infrastructure services.

The main focus will be on Kubernetes based hosting platforms used by Single Digital Presence (SDP), https://www.singledigitalpresence.vic.gov.au/, and the WoVG API gateway, https://developer.vic.gov.au/.

The technology stack includes Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Redhat Openshift (ARO), some AWS and Azure VM based hosting services as well as CI/CD pipelines using tools including Lagoon (https://github.com/amazeeio/lagoon), GitHub, Ansible and CircleCI.
