One of Canberra’s most highly regarded federal government departments is seeking to engage 3 x Server, Virtualisation and Network Infrastructure Engineers to provide ICT Infrastructure operations expertise and assistance across the department. The successful Engineers will be offered a contract until June 2021 with the view to be extended for 24 months

The successful 3 x Server, Virtualisation and Network Infrastructure Engineers must have the following:
Demonstrated ICT Infrastructure operations expertise in one or more of the following core competencies: Network and Gateway Administration, Windows Server and Domain Administration, Red Hat Enterprise Linux Administration and Automation and Virtualisation Administration
Demonstrated experience in producing and reviewing technical and design documentation
Proven experience in managing complex secure environments
Strong experience in implementing IT solutions for large, highly integrated government agencies or private organisations
Demonstrated experience in several of the following Network administration, Server administration and Virtualisation and automation experience such as Switching and Routing hardware and Protocol, Firewall administration, Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, Exchange, VMWare ESX and vSphere and vRealize Automation is highly desirable
