We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, professional and driven Plumber to join our dedicated team for the 2021 season . Someone with exceptional focus and an absolute commitment to delivering the highest standard of service, assisting in the creation of a once in a lifetime and yet relaxed outback guest experience.

Kings Canyon is located in the spectacular Watarrka National Park in the Northern Territory. Watarrka is rated as on the most unique and spectacular locations in Outback Australia for its numerous hikes and walking tracks and is home to the spectacular Kings Canyon and Kathleen Springs. Kings Canyon Resort is sublimely located close to the majestic Kings Canyon and has a great energetic and friendly working environment to match. Approx 4.5 or 450kms hour’s drive south - west of Alice Springs, NT, this property has something for everyone.

From April to October , Kings Canyon Resort operates multiple F&B outlets, being Carmichael’s Restaurant, Thirsty Dingo Bar, Desert Oaks Bistro , Outback BBQ and the award winning Under a Desert Moon dining experience. The resort offers a diverse range of accommodation, dining and natural attractions to guests from all walks of life.

Your Role Will Involve

• Attending to any urgent repairs;
• Undertaking maintenance to all buildings/areas as required;
• Adhering to all OH&S requirements;
• Assisting other members of the maintenance team as required;
• Becoming part of the on-call roster.
  
  

What You Will Bring To The Role

• Trade qualifications - plumber/drainer and gas fitter;
• Excellent personal presentation;
• Previous experience in a similar role;
• The ability to multi-task;
• Current unrestricted driver's licence;
• An understanding of safe work practices.

This is a remote role, where you will be living and working at Kings Canyon Resort for the duration of the season.
