Looking for Golang Engineer in /Melbourne. Software Engineer (Go / Golang API microservices CI/CD Agile)

Our client is looking for Software Developers with Golang development skills to join their backend team to design and build innovative APIs and microservices.

As a Software Engineer, you'll be a key member of the engineering team and will work collaboratively to evolve the existing architecture, improve operations, and implement new features and functionality. The technical stack is Go, Python, React with microservices architecture, CI/CD and Cloud technologies like Kubernetes and Serverless.

This Software Engineer role presents an excellent opportunity to join a large bank that is currently building a new online banking platform with planned launch within the next few months. Excellent career progression as the platform is launched and improved over the course of time.

You will be evaluated on your working experience on Golang, Python and your architectural and design knowledge in designing and developing an application in microservices architecture.

Requirements:

*Strong backend development experience with any Object-Oriented language and Go / Golang experience

*Strong experience with cloud datastores/databases like Google Cloud Spanner or AWS RDS or equivalent cloud services

*Experience building and designing microservices

*Experience in Cloud Kubernetes platforms like GKE, AKS, EKS etc

*Experience in Cloud Serverless technologies like Cloud Functions, AWS Lamda etc

*Familiar with CI/CD and related tools (Jenkins, Git, JIRA, Cucumber, Gherkin)

*Strong problem-solving skills

*Collaborative team member, keen to work in an agile environment with lots changing requirements and priorities
