IT Service Desk Engineer - Fashion Retailer

Ally first opened its doors in Sydney in 2001 and now has over 150+ stores nationally as well as a thriving online store shipping worldwide.

What We Are Looking for:

• 1-2 years working within an MSP.
• Ability to work independently or part of a team.
• Learning and training opportunity from Senior IT Engineer.
• Prior experience in a similar role working with managed service clients.
• Deploying hardware and provisioning software through automated deployment tools.
• Monitoring local systems and services to ensure any outages are quickly resolved.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Current driver's license is a must, with a willingness to be onsite when required.
• Proficient in Office 365 setup and migration (all-rounder).
• Physical hardware experience with Server and Desktop.
• Retails store POS & Payment Machine technical troubleshooting and support.
• Ability to work under pressure with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
• Managing hardware purchase along with device supplier and finance team.
• VoIP experience

Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in the relevant field or relevant experience is highly desirable.
• Effective English verbal and written communications.
• Excellent phone manner.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Work under general direction within a clear framework of accountability.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Exercise substantial personal responsibility and autonomy.
• Ability to work within a team environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Ecommerce platforms e.g., Magento, ERP.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skill.
• Windows Server - Exchange, AD, DFS, DHCP, DNS, RDS and GP.
• Experience working in an ITIL environment or completion of ITIL certification.
