Senior Software Engineer – Cloud Banking

Modern frameworks & languages. Brand new applications. At a bank – really? This isn’t just any normal software engineering team; this is a team where you’ll be building reusable services that help us create amazing experiences for our customers - it’s a pretty big deal! Our platforms process over 1.3 billion transactions daily, and we need some curious minds to help us solve the problems we encounter in delivering better banking to customers.

So what’s it like at work?

At the moment, as part of our response to COVID-19, everyone new to the tribe, along with our current team, will temporarily work from home until it is safe to return to our ANZ campus. When our ANZ campus reopens, you’ll be coming in to work in something comfy (we like jeans and a t-shirt), at a time that suits you, to work in a small team in 3-week sprints. Of course, if you want to keep working at home on some days because that’s what works for you, then that’s cool too.

• You’ll be coding away at your mac, developing software that will be used by over 2 million customers every day.
• Bring your deep experience with prominent languages and frameworks such as Go, Python, C#, Java, React to name a few.
• Ability to tackle and deal with the complexities of some real-world issues.
• A confident understanding in engineering principles, data structures and algorithms.
