The Civil People have partnered with a cracking landscape mob as they look to source a Landscape Leading Hand for their group. The business has operated in NSW for over 30 years, partnering with repeat clients such as councils and private developers.

They have an extensive background of project delivery on some of Sydney’s iconic landmark projects as well as continually delivering small infrastructure work for the larger councils across the city. They primarily focus on the following landscape work:

• Streetscapes
• Concrete and paving
• Car parks, parking bays and access roads
• Playgrounds/Parks

The Gig

They are looking to bring in a landscape leading hand, seeking a long-term career opportunity. They are looking for a Leading Hand with landscape, streetscape and concrete experience to look after projects based in Sydney CBD and surrounding suburbs. Duties and Responsibilities will include;

• Crew management overseeing operators and labourers.
• Project delivery on often tight deadlines.
• Reporting to Supervisors & Project Managers .
• Attendance at client and toolbox meetings
• Dealing with enquiries from members of the public in high traffic areas.

You must have a strong background working on landscape construction projects as a Leading Hand and have the ability to schedule works, allocate resources and oversee construction activities autonomously across multiple sites.
