JOB DESCRIPTION
The Role
As a Site Supervisor, you will utilise your extensive technical and practical construction knowledge to build high-quality homes in accordance with the Australian Building Codes and the Company’s safety standards.
Reporting into our Regional Construction Manager, your role will include but not limited to:
- Conducting daily site inspections and managing job rounds to ensure the most efficient job flow and progress
- Checking the quality of workmanship and materials to ensure compliance
- Reaching monthly targets
- Developing and maintaining relationships with trades and suppliers
- Utilising knowledge and experience of construction to identify opportunities for improvement and to effectively problem solve
- Promoting and maintaining safe work protocols at all times
- Delivering exceptional customer service to all Company stakeholders, building effective professional relationships
You (Key Selection Criteria)
To be successful in your application, the following qualities and experiences will be considered favourable:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a Site Supervisor within the WA Residential Building Industry
- Relevant trade qualification and Diploma in Building and Construction desired
- Current C Class Drives License (mandatory)
- Safety White Card and First Aid training
- Sound understanding of the relevant legislation, standards and codes and the ability to interpret building plans, engineers reports and specifications
- Strong time management, organisation skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
- Effective communication & sound problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Drive for continuous improvement
