Site Supervisor (New Residential Homes)

Verona Homes is a family owned and operated residential construction company. We are a young, small team who are passionate about building great houses. We pride ourselves on giving our customers a 'handcrafted experience' with only the best quality inclusions, and exceptional customer service.

We are looking for a new team member who will ideally have experience in the residential construction sector as a site supervisor, or as a carpenter, bricklayer, other trade.

Your role will include:

• Managing multiple projects at once, including scheduling of trades,
• Be responsible for overall performance and quality of the projects,
• Maintaining and ensuring the best quality,
• Efficiently maximising site production by managing a large number of trades,
• Reviewing building practices and procedures to maintain the Verona Homes standard,
• Reporting to the construction manager and office when required,
• Liaising with stakeholders, office admin, clients for on-site walkthroughs,
• Attending all office meetings,
• Keeping a safe and tidy site at all times.
• Travelling to and from multiple sites per day

The suitable candidate will:

• Be able and willing to confidently manage multiple building projects at once
• Have the ability to comply with building regulations
• Experience as a residential site supervisor (advantage)
• If no previous experience as a site supervisor, you must have some experience in a trade, such as carpentry or bricklaying, etc.
• Be willing to learn!!!

• Have a very strong work ethic
• Be a problem solver

Job Duties:

• Consult blueprints, designs, and client instructions to develop construction plans for the team
• Manage construction sites, ensuring that workers adhere to construction plans and safety codes
• Work with key stakeholders (e.g. owners, developers, contractors) to ensure project completion within budget and deadlines
