The Platform Team owns the end-to-end development and delivery for all CarAdvice and Drive products including architecture, development, delivery, maintenance and uptime.

Role Purpose and Description

The Full Stack Engineer works on our consumer facing websites and internal applications.

Working within the Platform team this role is responsible for developing React, NextJS & NodeJS applications across the stack, working with the latest frameworks such Next and Tailwind you will build dynamic, data driven websites and API's that will delight consumers.

Your stellar technical skills, ability to mentor junior developers and strong attention to detail will be key to the delivery of Caradvice’s roadmap.

Key Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or better in Computer Science or related discipline
  • 6+ Years’ experience in a full stack development or equivalent role.
  • Expert level knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
  • Advanced knowledge of React including hooks and state.
  • Previous exposure with NextJS will be highly regarded.
  • Experience with at least one of Tailwind or Bootstrap.
  • Experience working within a continuous delivery environment.
  • Experience building, consuming and maintaining GraphQL APIs
  • Intermediate experience with SQL and databases.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Typescript experience will be a plus.
  • AWS experience will be a plus.
