SPEL Stormwater is a family owned business with connections across Australia. We specialise in stormwater and waste water quality improvement, with a range of biological systems and engineered products. We are looking for an experienced engineer to assist clients and sales staff with design and to use the MUSIC modelling program.

The main part of the role will be assisting consulting companies with design and specification of a set product range. It is primarily an office based role however site visits within Victoria will occur and team meetings in Melbourne or Geelong.

To be successful in this position, your presentation and communications are paramount and the ability to display initiative, take directions and maintain high personal standards. A high level of IT proficiency is essential.

We require a full-time employee to take on these duties.

Your Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

· Advising how to design product into a civil/hydraulic portion of a project

. Be proficient with the MUSIC program

· Advising our drafts people with drawings

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Communication and presentation skills

· Demonstrate WSUD, civil and hydraulic experience

. Experienced with MUSIC modelling

· Driver’s licence and own transport

. On time & consistent attendance at work

. Effective use of time

. Excellent attention to detail

. Ability to work to tight deadlines

Credentials and Experience

· Friendly, enthusiastic and positive towards all people and tasks

· Excellent written and communication skills with a clear telephone voice and manner

· Highly motivated – “can do attitude”

· Good personal presentation

· Has excellent initiative

· Ability to take directions and follow through assigned tasks while working within a small team, as well as independently

This role will commence on a three month contract with a view to becoming permanent.
