JOB DESCRIPTION
Core Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities
· cost feasibility budgets
· cost checking of IFA designs
· value engineering
· quote evaluations and analysis
· contract negotiations with trades
· cash flow projections
· material supply procurement
· cost reporting
· evaluation of variations
· final cost performance of the BOM reporting
· claims preparation, presentation, negotiation and settlement of claims
· liaising with site supervisor, sales, and contract administration team in Pakenham
· Identifying and facilitating new trades formulating and implementing benchmarking processes to improve the consistency, accuracy and time to prepare cost models and plans
Continuous Improvement
· Read and research widely to keep abreast of suitable systems, programs and new tools to simplify, support and/or implement strategic initiatives and projects.
· Involvement and network with appropriate industry bodies
· Work within a culture of innovation across the business

· At all times strive to provide total customer satisfaction through a service delivery process which continuously focuses in improvement.

Highly Desirable:
Degree Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics/Management or Architecture
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Civil or residential construction experience
Demonstrated experience in concrete design and construction methodology
Demonstrated experience in Quantity Surveying

Salary: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
