Design and Build have partnered with a local engineering design consultancy. They focus on delivering building services engineering projects to a variety of sectors.

Due to an increasing workload, we are seeking a Senior Hydraulic Engineer with a strong background in building services to join the team.

You can work independently and manage your own project portfolio. You are also a confident relationship builder that can liaise with stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds and have a strong focus on being consultative.

Day to day activities will include

• Lead and deliver building services projects on time and within budget
• Coordinate hydraulic and mechanical disciplines with civil, structural and architecture while producing high quality design
• Prepare mechanical design calculations, drawings, specifications and reports
• Consult with clients on engineering matters and service delivery
• Develop and implement engineering processes and procedures

The successful candidates will have:

• An accredited engineering Degree or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role working in a consultancy environment (8-10 years preferred)
• Understanding of Australian standards in relation to mechanical/hydraulic engineering design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit 3D and BIM experience would be an advantage
• Registered building practitioner or/and Chartered professional engineer status would be an advantage
