Role Description

The Salesforce VIC Solution Architect is responsible for successful project delivery within the VIC Cludo operation and leading the assessment and delivery of tailored Salesforce solutions to Cludo clients in accordance with the Cludo Delivery Methodology (CDM).

The VIC Solution Architect will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of Cludo practice, providing Salesforce expertise and guidance to clients and through the successful planning, onboarding, execution and delivery of projects. This will be facilitated through a deft combination of strong skills in commercial acumen, project team leadership, Salesforce platform knowledge and practical solution delivery experience on the platform.


The VIC Solution Architect leads the NSW delivery practice pre-sales and delivery and supports Cludo commercial operations through the successful planning, onboarding, execution and delivery of Salesforce projects in accordance with the Cludo Delivery Methodology. This includes:

  • Pre-sales: Assisting the Cludo leadership team in scoping, planning and onboarding activities associated with project resourcing and client projects, including involvement in pre-sales activities as required;
  • Facilitation of requirements gathering: Ensuring client solution requirements are understood and met by applying industry best practices and detailed knowledge of the Salesforce platform to design optimal client solutions;
  • Solution Architecture: Creating and delivering innovative, client focused Salesforce solutions through team leadership, strong teamwork, initiative and collaboration;
  • Delivery: Leading the delivery of assigned client projects and contributing at all stages of project delivery in accordance with CDM standards and principals;
  • Execution: lead by example by being hands on and deliver best in class custom solutions on the Salesforce platform;
  • Communication: Providing clear visibility on the status of all in-practice projects underway and planned;
  • Collaborative: Provide functional expert and authoritative advice, guidance and training within the areas of service and providing leadership in continuous improvement of delivery practices and adhering to CDM standards;
  • Innovative: Contributing to the Cludo delivery practice nationally, including the ongoing development of CDM standards, tools and templates, innovative delivery strategies and locally leading delivery practice building initiatives in areas such as recruitment, training and enablement;
  • Stakeholder Management: Developing and maintaining relationships with client stakeholders throughout a project to maintain and develop the business relationship, ensure satisfaction with services provided, and identify opportunities for further growth;
  • Partner Management: Liaising and working with technology teams and vendors (including Salesforce) to ensure alignment between technical and functional specifications and business objectives and to identify areas to reduce implementation efforts;
  • Quality in Delivery: Leading quality management reviews and ensuring that all business and design requirements are met;
  • Coach: Lead the development of the team aligned as your coach to ensure their performance and KPIs are met; and


  • Bachelor's degree,
  • One or more Salesforce Architecture Certifications
  • Background with architecture concepts (integration styles, architecture styles, patterns),
  • Deep understanding of and experience with SFDC architectural concepts (e.g. API and governor limits) and how they influence design.
