THE COMPANY:

This company is well-known ASX-listed Manufacturing organization delivering products that are critical to the Australian economy.

They employ 2500 staff in 160 locations across Australia and New Zealand.

THE ROLE:

Infrastructure Engineer position responsible for the support, maintenance, and day-to-day operations of the server, network, and cloud technology that supports the organizations corporate network.

You will also provide guidance to other team members.

Key elements of the role include:

  • Support, maintain, implement, document, and improve the Windows Server, Network, IP telephony, Data Centre, and Virtual infrastructure.
  • Infrastructure monitoring & alerts.
  • Update and improve technical documentation.
  • Assist with IT security administration.
  • Deploy and manage Data Centre firmware upgrades/patches.
  • Involvement in infrastructure refresh / upgrades.

A SUITABLE CANDIDATE?

Suitable for an Infrastructure Engineer with core skills across Wintel, Virtualization, Office 365. Citrix, Networking Support and Datacenter experience is beneficial.

It is ideal for a self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills who enjoys sharing information and working in a collaborative team environment.

The following is required:

  • Strong Wintel exp - Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP etc
  • Strong Virtualization exp - VMware and/or Hyper-V.
  • Very good Office 365 expertise.
  • Citrix experience is beneficial.
  • Network support and IP Telephony exp with Cisco Call Manager is beneficial.
  • Datacenter background is beneficial.
  • Backup and Storage skills are beneficial.
  • Friendly, hardworking, approachable, and collaborative team player.

This is a full-time permanent role located in North Ryde and is offering $100,000 - $110,000 (plus super) - depending on experience
