I am sourcing for a consultancy that manage services & solutions for Australia's leading blue chip & SME businesses. We are needing a savvy Senior SOE Engineer for the deployment of Windows 10 across the group.

The Role:

Your role and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Maintain the managed End User Computing environment for all entities including the scripted OS installation model; imaging model; managed application deployment model; inventory, reporting, Group Policy configuration and maintenance
  • Design and solution work as delegated by SOE Architect
  • Ownership and accountability of all issues within the managed End User Computing environment, through to resolution
  • Configure RRAS Server - ISSUE needs immediate focus, Review GPO in event viewer and identify if it is expected result or not
  • Perform, lead & review implementation activities, particularly Win10 deployment from technical designs to meet project or service delivery requirements
  • Facilitate, support or lead complex component and application deployments

About You:

  • Advanced software, hardware and environmental troubleshooting ability
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 family of End User Computing Operating Systems and applications including Rollout
  • Strong Scripting ability (PowerShell, VBScript, Batch, TSQL)
  • Advanced working knowledge/understanding of Microsoft unattended deployment methodologies for the Microsoft Windows family
  • Working Knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management (ITIL) processes
  • ITIL V3 Certification

To be successful you, as a minimum have Degree in an IT or Computer Science related discipline, ITIL V3 Certification & at least 5 years' experience relevant experience supporting and leading technical outcomes in various managed End User Computing environments, in particular Windows 10 package.
