icare is currently seeking an experienced IAM Senior Technical Engineer with a commercial mindset and a passion for social impact to join the icare team!

We’re looking for someone to Provide technical expertise to support the development of Identity and Access Management capabilities for the IAM Practice. Additional, contributions include assisting with the solution design aligned to the IAM target state solution.

You’ll be working with a diverse mix of creative, curious and smart people who really care about making a difference for people and the NSW community. You will have a mind for getting things done and a heart for people and you will set the bar high through the quality of the work you do and the people-oriented decisions you make.

You’ll bring your experience in reviewing deployment approaches and automation, also in software development such as: Java, JavaScript, PowerShell, Perl, and/or PHP. Experience in development on IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Okta, Thycotic with Role Based Access Controls, Identity Lifecycle Management, Privilege Access Management. Knowledge in infrastructure technologies AWS, UNIX, Windows, AD, Firewalls, and Load Balancers. Additional experience in CI/CD e.g. Bamboo as well Python and Atlassian products is preferable.

It’s an exciting environment where no two days are the same. But on a typical day you might find yourself:  

  • Develop and enhance capabilities within the Identity and Access Management platform.
  • Support the execution of schedule User Access Reviews and Privilege Access reviews.
  • Implementation of automation strategies where appropriate.
  • Deliver continuous improvement to the day-to-day operations and champion new initiatives.
  • Identify stakeholders and collect business, functional, non-functional, and security requirements.
  • Define and document processes, application features/integrations, build guides and data constructs - enable baselines of current application and technology build guides
  • Create access requests, approval, and fulfilment workflows.
  • Coordinate & collaborate with teams to ensure solutions are delivered to standard and compliant with product and architectural designs.
  • Ensure applications deployed into production as designed and participate in go-live activity to ensure a successful production environment.
