Liberty Primary Steel, a member of GFG Alliance, operates integrated steelworks which include ironmaking, steel making, and rolling-mill facilities located in coastal Whyalla, approximately 400km from Adelaide.

About the role

We are currently looking for a reliable and safety focused Electrical Tradesperson to join our team in Whyalla. This is a permanent full-time position from Monday to Friday with shift cover opportunities available

About your experience

We would love to hear from self-starters who have industrial experience and a desire to prove themselves in a team environment. You should have good communication and organisation skills and align with our core vision of safety.

You will also have:

• A South Australian “A Class” electrical licence
• Certificate III in Electrotechnology (or equivalent Electrical Trade)
• Experience in fault finding on PLC and hard-wired control systems
• Experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Experience in installation and commissioning
• Strong technical and electrical aptitude

Any applicants that hold additional knowledge of ABB, Citect and Siemens PLC systems will be highly regarded.
